Stock sway bars are often made from smaller diameter tubing and don't offer much resistance to twisting. The front bar is a heavy-wall 29mm DOM tubing, and the rear is 32mm DOM tubing. DOM (drawn over mandrel) tubing is cold-formed, which helps it resist twisting forces better and maintain its shape over time compared to hot-formed bars. Each bar is CNC-formed for precise dimensions and consistent quality. To make sure the sway bar bushings are perfectly located and prevent side-to-side movement during hard cornering, BMR welds thrust washers onto the bars. The kit uses 88-durometer polyurethane bushings, which are designed for low deflection and have internal grooves to hold grease, keeping them lubricated and quiet. The steel mounting brackets are also reinforced to minimize flex.
