If you're looking to tighten up the handling on your 2015-2024 Ford Mustang, especially for performance driving like autocross or track days, this BMR Suspension sway bar kit is a solid choice. Sway bars are key to controlling how much your car leans in corners, and they also play a role in how the car steers – whether it tends to push wide (understeer) or tuck in too sharply (oversteer). BMR designed this SB043 kit specifically for the S550 Mustang, considering the car's weight, how it's used, and its suspension geometry. They're made from heavy-duty 35mm DOM steel tubing for the front bar and 25mm for the rear. This tubing is cold-formed, which helps it resist twisting fatigue and maintain its shape and spring rate over time, unlike some hot-formed bars. The CNC forming ensures precise dimensions, and BMR even welds thrust washers onto the front bar to keep the bushings perfectly centered, preventing side-to-side movement during hard cornering.

You'll also get new polyurethane bushings with this kit. These are made from 88-durometer material, which is much stiffer than the stock rubber bushings. This means less flex and a more direct connection between the chassis and the sway bar, leading to improved steering response and flatter cornering.
