Stock sway bars are often made from smaller diameter tubing, which limits their effectiveness in controlling body lean. BMR addresses this by using heavy-duty 38mm DOM steel tubing for the front bar and 25mm for the rear. This tubing is cold-formed, a process that helps the material resist torsional fatigue and maintain its shape over time, unlike the hot-formed bars some competitors use. The bars are CNC-formed to ensure precise dimensions and consistent quality. To keep the sway bar properly located and prevent unwanted side-to-side movement during aggressive cornering, BMR welds thrust washers to the front bar. The kit also includes polyurethane bushings, which are a notable upgrade from the stock rubber ones. These bushings are made from low-deflection polyurethane, with a 95-durometer hardness for the front and 88-durometer for the rear, and feature internal flutes to hold grease, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.
