BMR 16-17 6th Gen Camaro Front & Rear Sway Bar Kit w/ Bushings - Red

This BMR Suspension sway bar kit gives you both the front and rear sway bars, along with all the necessary polyurethane bushings to install them on your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro. Sway bars are key components for controlling how much your car leans, or 'rolls,' when you take a corner. They also play a role in how the car handles, influencing whether it tends to push wide (understeer) or rotate too quickly (oversteer).

Stock sway bars are often made from smaller diameter tubing and don't do a great job of keeping the car flat during aggressive driving. BMR designed this kit specifically for the Camaro, considering its weight, how it's used on the street, autocross, or road courses, and how the suspension geometry works. They're made from heavy-duty 1.25-inch DOM steel tubing, which is cold-formed. This process helps the bars resist twisting fatigue and hold their shape better over time compared to some other methods. The bars are CNC-formed for precise dimensions, ensuring consistent quality. You'll also find thrust washers welded onto the front bar to keep the bushings properly centered, preventing side-to-side movement during hard cornering.

The kit uses 88-durometer polyurethane bushings instead of the softer rubber ones found on the factory setup. This means less flex and a more direct connection between the chassis and the sway bar, leading to flatter cornering. The polyurethane bushings are internally grooved to help hold grease, keeping them lubricated and quiet.
