The stock stamped steel control arms, with their soft rubber bushings, tend to flex under load, absorbing power instead of sending it directly to the tires. BMR's rod-ended, on-car adjustable trailing arms are built from heavy-duty 1.25-inch DOM steel tubing, featuring TIG-welded chrome-moly tube adapters. This robust construction creates a strong trailing arm that significantly reduces deflection, leading to a much-improved performance feel.

These trailing arms incorporate zinc-plated, two-piece, X-series, heat-treated chrome-moly rod ends with a self-lubricating, Teflon lining. Custom-designed rod end spacers made from 304 stainless steel are also included. This setup offers reduced deflection, increased articulation, and an overall enhancement in performance, whether you're on the street, at the drag strip, or on the road course. The stock trailing arms can flex under cornering loads, leading to inconsistent handling, and their soft bushings allow for significant deflection. BMR's heavy-duty construction eliminates this flex, providing more repeatable performance.
