If you're looking to get more out of your classic 1964-1967 GM A-body, BMR Suspension has put together a solid rear suspension kit that will make a notable difference. The stock stamped steel control arms and rubber bushings on these cars tend to flex and absorb power, rather than putting it to the ground. This kit replaces those with well-built upper and lower control arms designed to handle more aggressive driving, whether you're hitting the drag strip or carving corners.

BMR constructs the lower control arms from heavy-duty 1.5x3-inch rectangular steel tubing with a 0.120-inch wall thickness, giving you plenty of strength for serious launches. The upper control arms are made from strong 1.625-inch diameter DOM steel tubing, also with a 0.120-inch wall, ready to take on compression loads. Inside these arms, you'll find greasable, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings. These offer a much more responsive feel than the original rubber ones. BMR's bushings have internal flutes to keep grease where it needs to be, ensuring quiet operation and long life, even under heavy use.
