The stock stamped steel control arms with rubber bushings can flex too much under load, absorbing power instead of sending it to the tires. This kit replaces those with upper and lower control arms built for strength and responsiveness.

The lower control arms are made from heavy-duty rectangular steel tubing, measuring 1x3 inches with a 0.120-inch wall thickness, giving you the strength needed for performance driving. For the upper control arms, BMR uses 1.625-inch diameter DOM steel tubing, also with a 0.120-inch wall, ensuring they can handle significant compression loads. Inside these arms are greasable, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings. These offer a much more solid and responsive feel compared to the stock rubber ones. BMR's bushings have internal flutes that help keep grease distributed, even under heavy load, which ensures quiet operation and keeps the thrust surface lubricated for long-term reliability.
