Starting with heavy-duty 1.50-inch diameter, 0.120-inch wall DOM steel tubing for the lower control arms, this BMR Suspension kit is built to handle serious performance demands. The upper control arms are constructed from 1.625-inch diameter, 0.120-inch wall DOM steel tubing, providing the strength needed for significant compression loads. These components are designed to replace the stock stamped steel control arms found in 1968-1972 GM A-body vehicles, which often deflect under load and absorb power instead of transferring it effectively to the tires.

This kit includes lower control arms, upper control arms, and control arm reinforcement braces, all finished in a durable Black Hammertone coating. The reinforcement braces, made from 1.0-inch diameter, 0.156-inch wall steel tubing, help reduce frame deflection by tying the upper and lower control arm mounts together. Inside the control arms, you'll find greasable, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings. These bushings offer a much more solid and responsive feel compared to the stock rubber bushings. BMR's unique internal fluting design keeps grease within the bushing, even under heavy load, and directs it to the thrust surface for quiet, reliable operation over time.
