These BMR Suspension upper A-arms are built to directly replace the stock control arms on your 1970-1981 Chevrolet Camaro, Nova, or Pontiac Firebird. A-arms are a critical link between your wheels and the chassis, and any flex in them can lead to imprecise steering and a vague connection to the road. BMR addresses this by fabricating these arms from heavy-duty 1.500-inch and 1.525-inch DOM tubing, reinforced with laser-cut, CNC-formed plate steel braces. Inside these A-arms, you'll find greaseable Delrin bushings. Unlike the stock rubber bushings, Delrin is a much stiffer material that significantly reduces unwanted movement. BMR's Delrin bushings feature internal fluting that helps distribute grease evenly, ensuring smooth operation and long life. This combination of strong tubing and precise bushings means you get a noticeable improvement in steering accuracy and feedback, giving you more confidence behind the wheel. The tubular design also offers a good reduction in weight compared to the factory arms.
