The lower control arms in this BMR Suspension kit are built from heavy-duty 1.50-inch diameter, 0.120-inch wall DOM steel tubing, giving you the strength needed for serious performance driving. This kit is designed to significantly improve the rear suspension performance of your 1978-1987 GM G-body, including the Buick Regal, Chevrolet Malibu, Oldsmobile Cutlass, and Pontiac Grand Prix. Stock stamped steel control arms with soft rubber bushings can deflect under load, absorbing power instead of transferring it to the tires, leading to wheel hop and inconsistent handling. BMR's kit directly addresses these weaknesses.

This comprehensive kit includes non-adjustable lower control arms and adjustable upper control arms, both featuring greasable, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings. These bushings offer a much more solid and responsive feel compared to the factory rubber, while their internally fluted design ensures efficient grease distribution for quiet operation. The upper control arms are constructed from 1.25-inch diameter, 0.120-inch wall DOM steel tubing, and feature a CNC-machined chrome-moly steel center adjuster with rolled threads for exceptional strength. Reinforcement braces, made from 1.0-inch diameter, 0.156-inch wall steel tubing, tie the upper and lower control arm frame mounts together, reducing frame deflection and further enhancing stability.

Completing the package are polyurethane differential bushings and all necessary hardware.
