When you're looking to tighten up the front end of your 1978-1987 GM G-Body, replacing the stock upper control arms is a smart move. These arms are the direct link between your wheels and the car's frame, and any flex in them can lead to sloppy steering and unpredictable alignment changes. BMR Suspension's AAU462 Upper A-Arms are built to eliminate that unwanted deflection, giving you a much more solid and responsive feel behind the wheel, whether you're cruising or pushing it a bit harder.

BMR fabricates these upper control arms from strong 1.25-inch DOM tubing with a 0.095-inch wall thickness, and they add laser-cut, CNC-formed plate steel braces for extra rigidity. Inside, you'll find CNC machined, nickel-plated cross-shafts and greaseable Delrin bushings. These Delrin bushings are designed to offer a more direct connection to the road than stock rubber, and BMR's internal fluting ensures the grease evenly coats the inner sleeve and lubricates the thrust surface, which helps keep things quiet and smooth over time. They also come pre-assembled with new polyurethane bump stops and upper ball joints, making for a more complete installation.
