If you're looking to get your 1979-2004 Ford Mustang launching harder, reducing wheel hop, and improving cornering consistency, upgrading the upper control arms is a smart move. The factory control arms use soft rubber bushings that can flex and absorb power, especially under load, instead of transferring it directly to the tires. BMR Suspension's non-adjustable tubular control arms are built from strong 1 5/8-inch, 0.120-inch wall DOM steel tubing, giving you a solid arm that significantly boosts performance.

These control arms feature heavy-duty, Teflon-lined Viking Performance spherical bearings. Spherical bearings offer excellent strength and articulation, allowing for better handling and more consistent suspension geometry during hard cornering or launches. By eliminating the flex found in stock control arms and their soft bushings, the BMR UTCA013 provides much improved repeatability whether you're on the street, at the drag strip, or on a road course. The black hammertone powdercoat finish helps protect them for a long-lasting look.
