This K-member is built from 1-1/2-inch by 0.120-inch wall DOM steel tubing and uses 3/16-inch thick laser-cut, CNC-formed steel plates. That makes it incredibly strong while keeping the weight down. It bolts right into place with no modifications needed, and it even includes integrated frame stands that replace the factory cast iron ones, further reducing weight. This specific version comes with mounts for LS1 engines and also accommodates Pinto-style steering racks, making it a popular choice for engine swaps.

When you install this K-member, you can expect to see a weight reduction of over 30 pounds compared to the stock unit, and potentially up to 100 pounds when paired with other lightweight front-end components.
