About this part

Product Details

BMR Suspension is well-known for making solid suspension components that improve the feel and performance of your vehicle. If you're working on your 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird, these lower A-arms are a critical part of getting your front suspension dialed in. A-arms are the direct link between your wheels and the chassis, and any flex in them can mess with your alignment, leading to a sloppy feel and inconsistent handling. BMR builds these lower A-arms to eliminate that deflection.

They're fabricated from heavy-duty DOM tubing, specifically 1.5-inch with a 0.095-inch wall and 1.25-inch with a 0.095-inch wall, which makes them incredibly strong and resistant to flexing. Inside, you'll find greasable, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings. These offer a much more solid and responsive feel compared to the stock rubber bushings, but BMR's design includes internal flutes that help distribute grease evenly. This keeps the inner sleeve and the thrust surface lubricated, which means you get that improved responsiveness without a lot of noise or premature wear. These A-arms are designed for coil-over setups and do not have a provision for the factory spring, making them ideal for performance builds.

These lower A-arms are designed for street performance, drag racing, handling, and pro-touring applications. They're built to improve your suspension geometry and increase lateral grip when you're cornering. They are available in a durable red powdercoat finish to look good for a long time. BMR Suspension manufactures these control arms in the U.S.A. For installation, it's highly recommended to pick up the RH010 control arm hardware kit, as it includes everything you'll need for both upper and lower arms.
