BMR 93-02 F-Body K-Member w/ No Motor Mounts and STD. Rack Mounts - Red

This is the BMR Suspension KM014 Tubular K-member, designed specifically for your 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. If you're looking to shed some serious weight from the front end of your F-body, improve chassis rigidity, and gain much-needed clearance for larger exhaust headers or turbocharger setups, this K-member is a solid choice. It replaces the heavy factory K-member with a much lighter, stronger, and more open design.

BMR builds this K-member using a combination of 1-5/8-inch x 0.120 wall and 1-1/4-inch x 0.095 wall DOM tubing. This construction makes it incredibly strong while keeping the weight down. The integrated frame stands replace the factory cast iron ones, further reducing mass and allowing for the use of larger tubing and thicker mounting plates. This K-member is a 100-percent bolt-in part, meaning no welding or cutting is required for installation, and it's designed to work with the standard steering rack mount. When paired with BMR's A-arms, you can expect to shave off at least 42 pounds, and potentially up to 100 pounds with other lightweight front-end components.

This particular version, the KM014R, comes in a durable red powdercoat finish for long-lasting good looks. It's intended for street performance, drag racing, and road racing applications where reducing weight and increasing structural rigidity are key. Installation typically takes about 4-5 hours. This K-member does not include motor mounts, so you'll need to source those separately if required for your build.
