This BMR Suspension driveshaft safety loop is designed for your 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird, specifically for non-convertible models. If you're hitting the drag strip, this loop is often required to meet NHRA safety regulations. Its main job is to contain the driveshaft in the event of a failure, preventing it from tearing through the floor pan or digging into the track surface. It's essentially cheap insurance to protect your car and give you peace of mind.

Built from 1/4-inch thick, laser-cut, and CNC-formed plate steel, this loop is well-built for the job. It's designed to bolt directly onto the factory transmission crossmember using existing mounting holes, making installation straightforward. The loop attaches to the factory driveshaft tunnel brace with the included Grade 8 hardware. BMR Suspension developed this loop for street, drag racing, and top-speed applications, ensuring it's ready for various driving conditions.

This driveshaft safety loop comes finished in a black hammertone powdercoat for a durable and good-looking finish. Installation is estimated to take about an hour.
