This Borla S-Type Cat-Back™ exhaust system is for your 2015-2017 Volkswagen GTI MK7. It replaces your factory exhaust from the catalytic converter back, featuring a 3-inch diameter main pipe that splits into dual 2.25-inch tailpipes. This system is designed to give your GTI that classic Borla S-Type sound, which is known for being aggressive without causing any annoying drone inside the cabin during normal driving. You'll get a more noticeable exhaust note when you step on the gas, and it's built to help your engine breathe a little easier.

The system is constructed from T-304 stainless steel, which is a strong material that resists corrosion and is built to last. Borla uses ultra-smooth mandrel bends throughout the system to ensure the exhaust gases flow as smoothly as possible, which can help with both power and efficiency. The precision manufacturing means it's made to fit your GTI right the first time. This particular system comes with single 4-inch round bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips, but other tip finishes are available separately if you prefer a different look. If you find you want a quieter sound, Borla offers an optional resonator (part number 60666) that can be added to reduce sound levels further, bringing it closer to their Touring sound level.
