Starting with the 2.5-inch diameter mandrel-bent piping made from T-304 stainless steel, this Borla ATAK cat-back exhaust system is built for your 2010 Ford Mustang GT with the 4.6L V8 engine. Borla's ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics) technology is specifically engineered to maximize volume while maintaining a clear, undistorted sound, avoiding the typical harshness found in other loud exhaust systems. This system is designed to pump up the volume so you can hear the engine's performance over your stereo, providing an intoxicating concert of steel, gears, and combustion.

Borla engineers conduct extensive studies of each vehicle's unique acoustical properties, tuning the internal muffler cores on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis to achieve the most desirable sound. Factors like the distance from the exhaust manifold to the rear bumper, underbody shielding shape, and ground clearance are all considered and accounted for in the ATAK design.
