The Borla ATAK cat-back exhaust system for your 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 6.2L V8 starts with 3.5-inch piping that splits into dual 2.75-inch pipes, featuring the aggressive ATAK muffler. This system is built from T-304 stainless steel, which is stronger than T-400 series steel, ensuring it holds up over time. The ultra-smooth mandrel bends are precisely manufactured using CNC technology to maximize exhaust flow and power, contributing to increased exhaust velocity that can add to driving excitement.

Borla's Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology is at the heart of this system. It uses patented pipes of varying diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that blend together. This results in a clean, rich, and full-bodied sound without any unwanted drone inside the cabin. A valve simulator is included to prevent the Check Engine Light from illuminating, a common concern with aftermarket exhaust systems. This particular system comes with dual 3.5-inch round black chrome tips on T-304 stainless steel tailpipes. Installation requires the removal of the factory valance tips, and Borla advises against using their stainless steel polish on these black chrome tips; hot water and a microfiber cloth are recommended for cleaning.

This cat-back system is designed for factory split rear exit vehicles and is compatible with Extended Cab and Crew Cab models with standard beds, provided you add adapter 60706 for specific wheelbase configurations. It's important to note that this system is not compatible with ZR2 or AT4X models. If you prefer a slightly quieter exhaust note, you can replace the Polyphonic Harmonizer behind the muffler with muffler 60679 to achieve the S-Type sound level.
