It's a universal exhaust component designed to reduce the overall sound level of your exhaust system, particularly when paired with Borla's CrateMufflers. If you're looking to dial back the volume on your custom exhaust build, this resonator can help lower the sound pressure level by about 2 to 3 dB(A), making it a bit more comfortable for daily driving or specific applications.

Built from T-304 austenitic stainless steel, this resonator is well-built to resist rust and features 100% welded construction for solid strength. Its straight-through, free-flow design means it won't negatively impact your vehicle's performance. The compact size, with a 4-inch round body that's 10 inches long, makes it a good choice for applications where space is tight. For installation, the un-notched necks are ready for welding. If you prefer to use band clamps, Borla recommends their 3-inch wide band clamps (part number 18006). The natural mill finish can be brushed or polished before installation if you want a specific look.
