If you're looking to get more out of your Ford F-150's suspension, especially when articulating over rough terrain, these extended shackles from Camburg are a solid option. They're designed to work with Deaver leaf springs but can also be fitted to stock springs, offering a way to increase your rear wheel travel and improve articulation. The stock shackles can limit how much your suspension can droop, and these extended versions, which are 1.5 inches longer than stock and 6 inches eye-to-eye, help overcome that limitation.

Camburg builds these shackles from laser-cut 4130 chromoly steel, CNC formed, and then TIG welded for a strong, well-built component. They feature a fully boxed and sealed design, which is an updated approach that avoids the dimple dies found on some other parts. The polyurethane bushings used here are key to their performance; they resist deflection under articulation, allowing the shackles to pivot more smoothly and without restriction compared to stock rubber bushings. This smoother action and reduced deflection contribute to better overall suspension performance. Keep in mind that these shackles will lower your ride height slightly due to their extended length. For Bronco applications, you may need to clearance the body seam behind the shackle to prevent contact during compression, unless a drop hanger is used, which would raise the ride height back up.

These shackles are finished with a bead blast and a textured gray powder coat for durability and a clean look. They are made in the USA and are designed to fit OEM 3-inch wide leaf springs.
