This specific cup is 1.50 inches wide, which is often used for lower control arms or links where you need a good amount of weld surface for maximum strength.

These cups are CNC machined in-house from US 4130 chromoly steel, not cheaper mild steel or imported materials. Camburg also machines the outside diameter to remove mill scale, which helps ensure a cleaner, stronger weld when you're fabricating your parts. They're designed to allow for maximum misalignment and strength, and you can MIG or TIG weld them. Remember, this is just the cup itself; it does not include the snap ring or bearing.
