Camburg 2.25 Prerunner Series Rear Hub Kit (5x5.5 / 40sp)

This Camburg 2.25 full-float rear hub kit is designed for PreRunners and lighter race trucks, offering a robust solution at a lower cost. You get CNC machined billet aluminum hubs, Timken wheel bearings and races, SKF seals with bolt-on stainless retainers, 4340 chromoly drive plates, and brake rotor adapters. The kit also includes all necessary hardware, O-rings, and bearing preload spacers, with attention to detail like drilled head bolts for safety wiring brake rotor adapters.

The 2.25 lightweight hub design features a wider bearing spread than 2.5 GN hubs, which adds strength and longevity. The hub body itself is made from larger 7-inch round material for increased strength around the wheel stud area. These hubs are CNC machined in-house from 6061-T6 aluminum and then type II anodized in matte black. They come equipped with large 5/8-18 wheel studs and tapered, hub-centric center caps designed to make wheel installation quick and easy, which is critical when every second counts on the race course.

The drive plates are crafted from 4340 chromoly, then broached, heat-treated, stress relieved, and nickel plated gray for excellent corrosion resistance. The included red brake rotor adapters complete the package. To get this setup fully functional, you will need Camburg's weld-in spindle snouts and their custom spindle nut wrench. Please note that wheels must have a 4.25-inch center bore and be machined for 5/8-inch wheel studs.
