Camburg 2.25 Prerunner Series Rear Hub Kit (6x5.5 / 35sp)

Starting with 6061-T6 aluminum CNC machined in-house, these Camburg 2.25 Prerunner Series rear hubs are built for the demands of prerunners and lighter race trucks. The 2.25-inch hub body uses a wider bearing spread than larger 2.5 GN hubs, which adds strength and helps extend the life of the components. The hub body itself is made from larger 7-inch round material, giving it extra toughness around the wheel stud area.

These hubs feature 35-spline drive plates machined from 4340 chromoly, which are then broached, heat-treated, stress-relieved, and nickel-plated for corrosion resistance. Camburg includes high-quality Timken bearings and races, along with SKF seals protected by bolt-on stainless retainers. The brake rotor adapters are finished in red, and the kit comes with all necessary hardware, O-rings, and bearing preload spacers. Even small details like drilled head bolts for safety wiring the brake rotor adapters show the attention to detail Camburg puts into these kits.

To complete this setup, you will need Camburg's weld-in spindle snouts and their custom spindle nut wrench. Wheels must have a 4.25-inch center bore and be machined to accept 5/8-inch wheel studs.
