Camburg 98-12 Ford Ranger XLT 2wd 2.0 Shock Upgrade Kit (no shocks)

Ready to take your Camburg 5.5 Performance kit on your 1998-2011 2wd Ford Ranger to the next level? This 2.0 shock upgrade kit is a solid choice for stepping up to larger 2.0 x 8-8.5” remote reservoir shocks. This allows for better control, lower shock temperatures, and improved damping and tuneability, especially when you're pushing your Ranger hard.

The kit includes fabricated upper and lower shock mounts, fully MIG welded from 4130 Chromoly for strength. You'll also get all the necessary Grade 8 mounting hardware. Keep in mind that this upgrade requires welding and frame modifications, so it's best suited for installers with fabrication experience. The shocks themselves are not included, but Camburg recommends custom valved King 2.0 x 8” or Bilstein 7100 2.0 x 8” shocks for optimal performance. Ensure your chosen shocks are around 23” extended and 14” compressed, with 90-degree reservoir fittings and 1/2 x 1.25" width spacers for both top and bottom mounts. This kit is designed for coil-sprung 2wd Rangers with stock lower control arms.
