Gliptone GT72816 is the coarse grade in the metal polish line. It is the heavier-cut option for rough, heavily oxidized non-plated metal when a lighter polish will not do enough.
Use it on aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, or magnesium before moving to a finer polish. It is not meant for mirror stainless, chrome, nickel, or other plated metals, and the formula contains no ammonia, acid, or water.

gliptone coarse grade
This product is awesome, my harley vrod aluminum engine cases and swing arm and dish wheels were extremely oxidized and water stains, pitting, i used the coarse grade with 0000 super soft steel wool followed by a couple applications of mothers and all the parts shine like chrome, simply amazing stuff,goes a long way, dont be be afraid of the steel wool just make sure its 0000#4 super soft,i tried everything but this is the only product that worked for me.
