The factory idler arm on many GM HD trucks from 2011 onward can be a weak point, especially when you're looking to improve steering feel. This Cognito Steering Stabilizer Kit, featuring a Fox Performance Series 2.0 IFP shock, is designed to help reduce road feedback that travels through the steering wheel, giving you a more controlled driving experience. It works by damping unwanted steering movements, making it easier to keep your truck tracking straight, especially on uneven surfaces or at higher speeds.

For 2016 and newer models, this kit is a straightforward bolt-on installation, as GM eliminated the factory frame-side mounting tabs that could interfere. If you have a 2011-2015 truck, you'll need to remove those OEM tabs, which are located on the crossmember, to properly install the included stabilizer bracket.
