At the heart of this kit are the Cognito SM Series Upper Control Arms. These boxed sheet metal arms are robot welded and powder coated for durability, and they're designed to correct the ball joint angle for lifted trucks, which also helps improve droop travel for a smoother ride over rough terrain. You also get Elka 2.0 Internal Floating Piston (IFP) shocks, which are tuned specifically for your truck. These shocks help reduce cabin noise and vibrations, offering more comfort on and off-road, especially over impacts like washboard roads or square-edged bumps. They also contribute to more stable handling, less front-end dive during braking, and reduced rear-end bucking. Keep in mind that for 4WD models, a CV front driveline is required if you plan on operating in 4WD above 20 mph. Also, if you have a 1500 Denali model with the ARC Adaptive Ride Control system, that system will need to be bypassed for this kit to function correctly.
