Cognito 2020+ Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500HD 3in Performance Leveling Kit w/ 2.0 IFP Shocks

This Cognito 3-inch performance leveling kit for your 2020-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 HD includes Cognito SM Series Upper Control Arms and Cognito 2.0 IFP front and rear shocks. The upper control arms are built with a corrected high-angle ball joint to handle the extra travel from the longer shocks, and they also increase caster for better highway stability. The boxed sheet metal arms are powder-coated black and come fully assembled, ready to bolt on.

The included 2.0 IFP shocks are specifically tuned for these trucks, offering a comfortable ride on the road while giving you more confidence off-road. They are gas-charged with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) to prevent oil aeration and provide consistent damping. These shocks add 35% more front suspension droop travel, which is the limiting factor in suspension travel, without causing binding in your tie rods, ball joints, or CV axles. The shocks feature hard-anodized bodies and end caps for corrosion resistance, and they use vulcanized upper bar pins and bushings for mounting.

This kit levels the front of your truck up to 3 inches using torsion bar keys, improving its appearance and allowing for larger tires. While the base kit includes everything needed for leveling, Cognito highly recommends adding their patented Pitman and Idler Arm Support kit. This is because the stock GM steering system, especially with larger tires and lift kits, puts significant stress on the pitman and idler arms, leading to premature wear and alignment issues. The support kit corrects these flaws, helping maintain alignment and preventing excessive tire wear and other related problems. You can also add an optional 1-inch rear block and U-bolt kit if you prefer a slight rake, and the included rear shocks are designed to accommodate up to 1.5 inches of rear lift.
