This is a Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket, designed for 1982 through 1995 Dodge, Plymouth, and Chrysler vehicles with the 2.2L and 2.5L SOHC engines. It features an 89.5mm bore and a compressed thickness of 0.051 inches. This gasket is built to handle the demands of higher output engines and is suitable for use with both aluminum and cast iron blocks.

Cometic's MLS head gaskets are constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel for increased strength and resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material that can handle temperatures up to 482°F (250°C).
