When you're rebuilding the top end of your 1993-1996 Honda Prelude with the 2.2L VTEC engine, a solid head gasket is crucial for sealing the combustion chamber. This Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket from Cometic is built to handle the demands of high-output engines.

Cometic constructs this gasket with multiple layers of stainless steel for increased strength and resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are coated with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material that can handle temperatures up to 482°F (250°C) and works well with different block and head materials, including aluminum to cast iron.
