This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is built with three to five layers of stainless steel, chosen for its strength and resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated with Viton rubber, a material that can handle temperatures up to 482°F and works well in tough sealing conditions and on various surface finishes.
