This product is a Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for AMC 390, 401 Gen-3 V8 engines. It features a 4.380-inch bore and a compressed thickness of 0.075 inches, making it suitable for a range of classic American Motors and Jeep vehicles from the late 60s through the late 70s, such as the AMC Ambassador, Javelin, and Jeep Wagoneer.

Cometic's MLS gaskets are constructed from multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, which provides increased strength and resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material that can handle temperatures up to 482 degrees Fahrenheit.
