It's built with multiple layers of stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance, and the outer layers are coated with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material that can handle tough sealing conditions up to 482°F.
This gasket has a compressed thickness of .060 inches and an 86mm bore, designed to seal effectively between aluminum heads and either aluminum or cast iron blocks.
