This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is built with multiple embossed stainless steel layers, featuring a Viton rubber coating on the outer layers. With a compressed operating thickness of 0.098 inches and a 93mm bore, it's designed to handle the demands of high-output BMW M30B34 and M30B35 engines. This gasket is suitable for applications with aluminum heads on either aluminum or cast iron blocks, effectively managing the shearing forces that can occur between dissimilar metals.
