This product is a Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for the Chrysler 392 FirePower engine. It features a 4.100-inch bore and a compressed operating thickness of 0.036 inches, with an initial thickness of 0.027 inches. This gasket is built to handle the demands of high-output engines and is suitable for use with both aluminum and cast iron blocks, as well as aluminum heads.

The gasket is constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel, which provides increased strength and resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 482 degrees Fahrenheit. This Viton coating is designed to perform in harsh sealing environments and varying load conditions. The center layer is uncoated stainless steel, allowing for adjustments in thickness to meet specific requirements. Because it's an MLS gasket, it does not require any additional sealants for installation.
