This product includes a set of Cometic AFM fiber intake manifold gaskets for Chrysler Big Block B/RB V8 engines. These gaskets are designed to seal the intake manifold to the cylinder heads, preventing vacuum leaks and ensuring proper air-fuel mixture. They are specifically sized for rectangular ports measuring 2.260 inches by 1.210 inches and are .060 inches thick.
The AFM material used in these gaskets is a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This construction offers temperature resistance of over 250°F and maintains strong torque retention with 85 percent recovery. This means the gaskets seal well under heat and pressure without needing additional sealers or re-torquing after installation, making the job simpler.
