This is a Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for Chrysler Gen-2 Hemi engines. It features a 4.310-inch bore and a compressed thickness of 0.080 inches, making it suitable for a range of classic Mopar V8 applications like the Dodge Challenger, Charger, and Plymouth Barracuda from the late 60s and early 70s. MLS gaskets are built for high-output engines where reliable sealing is critical.

Cometic constructs these gaskets from multiple layers of stainless steel. The outer layers are coated with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material that can handle temperatures up to 482 degrees Fahrenheit and works well with different block and head materials, including aluminum and cast iron.
