If you're rebuilding the top end of your 1992-1996 Dodge Viper, a solid set of head gaskets is crucial for a good seal. This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) gasket is built to handle the heat and pressure these engines can generate.
Cometic builds these gaskets with three to five layers of stainless steel. That stainless steel gives them extra strength and helps them resist corrosion, which is always a good thing in an engine. The outer layers are coated with a Viton rubber material, which is designed to seal well even in tough conditions and on different surface finishes.
