This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is built with a specific 4.080 inch bore and a compressed thickness of 0.098 inches, making it a solid choice for rebuilding or modifying Ford Windsor V8 engines like the 289, 302, and 351. The multi-layer stainless steel construction offers increased strength and resistance to corrosion, while the outer layers are coated with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material capable of handling temperatures up to 482 degrees Fahrenheit.
