This is a Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket designed for Ford 289, 302, and 351 Windsor V8 engines. It features a 4.155-inch bore and a compressed thickness of 0.056 inches. This gasket is built to handle the demands of high-output engines and is suitable for applications using aluminum heads with either aluminum or cast iron blocks, as it can manage the shearing forces between dissimilar metals.

The gasket is constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel for increased strength and resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material capable of sealing effectively in harsh environments and across various surface finishes.
