This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is built with multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, featuring Viton rubber coating on the outer layers. This construction is designed to handle the demands of high-output engines, offering strong sealing performance without needing additional sealants. It's well-suited for applications using aluminum heads with either aluminum or cast iron blocks, as the multiple stainless steel layers resist the shearing forces that can occur between dissimilar metals.
