This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is built with three to five layers of stainless steel, chosen for its strength and resistance to corrosion. It's specifically designed for the 2018 Ford Mustang's 5.0L Gen-3 Coyote Modular V8 engine, featuring a 94.5mm bore and a .051 inch thickness for the right side (RHS) cylinder head.
The outer layers of this gasket are coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material. This coating is heat resistant up to 482°F (250°C) and helps the gasket meet the demands of harsh sealing environments and varying load conditions.
