This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is built with multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, featuring outer layers coated with Viton rubber. The Viton coating, a heat-resistant elastomer, is applied to both sides of the outer layers and can withstand temperatures up to 482°F, making it suitable for harsh sealing environments and various surface finishes.
