This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is built with multiple embossed stainless steel layers, featuring outer layers coated with Viton rubber. This construction is designed to provide maximum sealing performance for high-output engines, and it doesn't require any additional sealants. MLS gaskets are a solid choice for both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast iron block combinations, as they can handle the shearing forces that can occur between different metals.
