Built with three to five layers of stainless steel, this Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket offers improved strength and resistance to corrosion. The stainless steel construction also helps the gasket rebound effectively under pressure. This gasket is designed for GM Brodix 8B 5000 and 8B 5025 Pro Stock applications and fits a wide range of Chevrolet vehicles from the late 1950s through the early 2000s, including models like the Chevrolet C10 Pickup and Camaro.
The outer layers of this gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material.
