The gasket is constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel, with the outer layers coated in Viton rubber for enhanced sealing and heat resistance.

The multi-layer steel (MLS) design offers improved strength and the ability to rebound, helping to prevent leaks under high-output conditions. The Viton coating on the outer layers is heat resistant up to 482 degrees Fahrenheit and is designed to handle demanding sealing environments and various surface finishes.
