This product includes one Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket designed for GM LS Gen-3/4 small block V8 engines. It features a 4.190 inch bore and a compressed operating thickness of 0.040 inches. This gasket is built to handle the demands of high-output engines and fits a wide range of vehicles, including models like the Chevrolet Corvette, Cadillac CTS, and Pontiac GTO.

Cometic MLS head gaskets are constructed from multiple embossed layers of stainless steel. The outer layers are coated with Viton, a heat-resistant rubber material that can withstand temperatures up to 482 degrees Fahrenheit, making it suitable for sealing aluminum heads to aluminum blocks or aluminum heads to cast iron blocks. The stainless steel layers provide increased strength and resistance to corrosion, while the center shim layer can be varied to achieve different thickness requirements. These gaskets are designed to provide maximum sealing performance without the need for additional sealants.
