These gaskets are constructed from Cometic's Aramid Fiber material. It's a high-density, creep-resistant material that can handle high temperatures and is also resistant to fuel. Because of its properties, it doesn't require re-torquing after installation and is asbestos-free. You won't need any additional sealants with these gaskets; they're ready to go right out of the box.
