This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is built with multiple embossed stainless steel layers, featuring a Viton rubber coating on the outer layers. When compressed, it measures 0.030 inches thick, providing a solid seal for your D15B1-2-7 or D16A6-7 SOHC ZC engine. MLS gaskets are known for their ability to handle the demands of high-output engines and are suitable for mating aluminum heads to either aluminum or cast iron blocks, resisting the shearing forces that can occur between dissimilar metals.
